Work Package 1: Data Management Plan (DMP)
This task will establish the project’s data management plan and set up and lead the RHYTHM Data Management Board (DMB) that will oversee all aspects of data governance, ensuring adherence to high standards of data quality, security, and compliance throughout the RHYTHM project, focusing on data interoperability, secure storage, and adherence to EU data protection and EHDS regulations in alignment with the ELSIB.
Work Package 5: Development of a European repository as a tool for optimization of paediatric diagnostic CT exams
A European dose and image repository will be established, enabling dose benchmarking through the concept of DRLs, as well as direct comparisons of scanner protocol settings and image quality for specific clinical indications across different institutions using the same scanner model. The specific objectives of this WP are to:
- Create a structured reference database where radiology departments can compare their DRLs against similar
institutions. - Enable repository users to compare their scanner protocol settings, dose indices, and image quality with those of other
institutions utilising the same CT scanner model, fostering standardization, and reducing variability in radiation doses.
